Shirley E. (Kiser) Alexander

Shirley E. Alexander 83 of Rushville, Ohio passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at the Pickering House.

She was born on May 8, 1939 in Meador, WV to the late Ben and Cleo Kiser.  She was a retired Administrative Assistant for the State of Ohio in the Ohio Arts Council Office.

Shirley is survived by her husband of 26 years, Paul “Pete” Alexander; son, David Bennett Bailey of Lancaster; brother, David (Susann) Kiser of KY; sister, Emily (Kirk) Olney of Carroll and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her stillborn infant, parents, brothers, Cecil, Harold, Paul, Travis, Larry, Ben Jr., Carl and Danny and sisters Hester and Margaret.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.  Friends may visit from 10:00 am-12:00 pm on Monday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
