In Loving Memory of Sherie Lynn Bomar
On the 25th of July, 2024, the world lost a true angel, Sherie Lynn Bomar, who passed away in Lancaster, Ohio. She was born on December 19, 1955, and her kind soul touched the lives of many.
Sherie's career as a caregiver was a testament to her compassionate nature. Her willingness to lend a helping hand and her self, knew no bounds. Whether it was providing care to those in need or working in people's homes, Sherie's dedication was unwavering. Her passion for taking care of others extended beyond her professional life; she had a green thumb and found solace in gardening. It was not uncommon to see her rescuing plants from the side of the road, nurturing them back to health with love and care.
Those who knew Sherie understood that beneath her stubborn and bull-headed exterior lay a heart of gold. She prioritized the needs of others above her own and approached every situation with kindness and empathy. Her loving and caring nature left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Sherie's proudest accomplishments were undoubtedly her grandchildren. Becoming a grandmother brought her immense joy, and she cherished every moment spent with Leo E. Ogg and Hunter Bomar.
Sherie is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert L. Bomar; devoted daughter, Destiny (Stephen) Ogg; caring son, Timothy (Sheree Sharp) Bomar; mother, Evelyn Harris; beloved sister, Melody (Jack) Siefert; cherished nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her Step-father, Reginald Harris
In honoring Sherie J. Bomar's memory, let us carry forward her legacy of compassion, kindness, and generosity. She may no longer be with us in person, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved.
May she rest in peace knowing that she made the world a better place simply by being in it.
