Shela Koker

Shela June Crist Koker, age 86, of Baltimore, passed away on Friday March, the 4th, 2011. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and an avid crocheter and cake decorator. She was a very religious person who helped several churches in the area and supported several charities. She is survived by her daughters, Roberta (Ronald) Barnhard of New Albany and Joyce (Carlin) Bartschi of Arizona; son Ronald Koker of Columbus; 11 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; sister, Mini Grile of Baltimore; and brother, Devaughn (Nancy) Crist of Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother Warren and Peobe Fleak Crist; grandchild, Samantha Bartschi; two brothers and four sisters.
A service will take place on Thursday at 1:30pm at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Baltimore. Burial will follow at Zion Ridge Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5pm until 8PM on Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials in Shela's name can be made to either Mt.
