Shane Starner

July 12, 1989 - April 29, 2013

Shane Starner, 23, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, April 29, 2013.

Shane was a graduate of Lancaster High School. He worked for Fairfield Medical Center, transporting patients, where his caring and outgoing personality brightened the day for many people. In his spare time Shane enjoyed watching Carolina Panthers football and he was an avid video gamer.

Shane is survived by his mother, Ruth (Gary) Hummel; father, Robert (Terri) Starner; step-sisters, Ashley and Misty; grandparents, Iris Kathy Starner and Ronald and Kaye Campbell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Shane was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Robert Starner.

A memorial service for Shane will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, with Pastor Tony Salvatori officiating. Family and friends may visit from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation has taken place.
