Scott Braniff

Scott Michael Braniff 49 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at Altercare Nursing Center in Canal Winchester.

Scott was born on June 4, 1969 to Wayne and Barbara Braniff. He was their only child. He graduated from Forest Rose School and attended the Opportunity Center and Creative Journey with his many friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his loving mother, Barbara Braniff, who devoted her life to his care and grandma and grandpa, Russell and Virginia Barnes.

He is survived by his father, Wayne Braniff of Lakeview, New York; aunt Linda and uncle Tim Dufner; cousin, David Dufner and his family Cindy and Gavin; cousin, Amy Walker and her family, Ryan, Dustin and Cameron Tate; uncle Roger and Linda Barnes and their families of Amanda, and his feline companions, Tiger Lilly and Tommy Boy.

Scott was a “gentle giant” who loved spending time with his family and friends. He touched many hearts and called everyone his “Buddy”. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Scott is now in the arms of Jesus and his mother.

A graveside service will be held Friday, October 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Floral Hills Memory Gardens Mausoleum with Chaplain Mark Thiert officiating.
