Biography

Sarah I. Scheidegger, 82, of Millersport, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2012.

Sarah was a member of Mt. Zion Church in Baltimore and enjoyed activities at the church. She also enjoyed crocheting, baking, and cooking.

Sarah is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Steve) Lama of Baltimore and Beverly (George) Rice of Baltimore; sons, Robert Scheidegger of Glenford and David (Dixie) Scheidegger of Baltimore; grandchildren, Heather (Scott) West, Heidi Scarbery, Gary (Nicole) Rice, Kevin Rice, Chad Rice, Sarah (Ron) Scheidegger, Misty Correll, Eric Correll, Dustin (Heather) Scheidegger, Josh Scheidegger, Crystal Scheidegger, and Keith Scheidegger; 16 great grandchildren; sisters, Thelma Mauger, Dorothy Davis, Lillian Sites, Evelyn (Howard) Worrell, Donna (Dennis) Keller, Glenna Young, Karen Boyer, and Lois (Joe) Valdez; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Scheidegger; parents, Walter and Hazel Myers; and sisters, Mildred Moore and Carol McKibben.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am Monday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore with Pastor David Helser officiating. Burial will follow in Union Evangelical Cemetery, Baltimore. Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Donations may be made in memory of Sarah to the American Heart Association, 5455 North High Street, Columbus, OH 43214; Acclaim Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Drive, Suite 140, Columbus, Ohio 43231; or to charity of donor’s choice.
