Lancaster - Sandy Utt, age 73, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at the Pickering House.

She was born on June 29, 1950 in Lancaster, Ohio and graduated from Lancaster High School. Sandy retired as a job coordinator from Southeastern Correctional Institute.

Sandy lived her life with passion, a strong will, and determination sprinkled with a sense of humor through her many facial expressions. She was a loving, caring, and compassionate mom.

She is survived by her son Brian Clarke of Lancaster and her daughter Wendy (Eric) Coffey of Grove City. Grandchildren, Tyler Clarke, Taylor Clarke, Chandler Clarke, Spencer Clarke, and Avery Clarke all of Lancaster, Nick (Brittany) Pickering, Carson Coffey, and CJ Coffey all of Grove City. Great grandson, Christian Clarke of Lancaster and great granddaughter, Reese Pickering of Grove City. Two sisters, Sherry (Jerry) Roush of Lancaster and Joyce Hime of Florida, and one brother, Larry Evans of Lancaster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews but shared a special bond and love with her niece Lori Frazee of Lancaster.

She is preceded in death by her father, Robert Evans, mother, Garnet Sealy, and her sister Wilma Bostic.

Visitation will take place Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 9:00 - 11:00 AM, at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
