Ruth Snider Stoltz, age 84 of Baltimore, passed away at her residence on March 6th, 2018. She was born to the late Samuel and Vera Scheidegger Snider on January 25th, 1934 also at her residence. She retired as a Nursing Education director of the Ohio Department of Public Health. She was a life member of New Zion United Methodist Church, where she played organ from 16yrs old on. She taught at Case Western and was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association. She was the first four year class of nursing at Capital University, where she helped design their uniforms. She was also a 1951 graduate of Liberty Union Ruth will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving husband of 28 years, Clarence Dean Stoltz; daughter, Margaret (Donald) Green; son, Richard (Jackie) Stoltz; grandchildren, Jennifer (Nathan) Crook, Dawn Green, Joe (Kelsey) Green, Chris Stoltz, Stephanie Sahraoui, Michelle (Keith Bost) Stoltz; four great grandchildren; sister, Helen Wilson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Grace) Snider; and brother-in-law, Hubert Wilson.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday at 3:30Pm at New Zion United Methodist Church. Family and friends may call from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM Friday, at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service at the church.
