Born on March 9, 1950, in Garfield Heights, Ohio, Ruth was an alumna of John Carroll University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in business administration Her career as an accountant was marked by precision and dedication, reflecting her commitment to excellence in everything she pursued.
Ruth was more than just an accomplished professional; she was a beacon of joy and humor to those around her. She had an outgoing personality that lit up every room, paired with a quick wit that could bring a smile to anyone's face. Her ability to engage in witty banter was one of her many endearing qualities, making her a cherished friend and family member. Ruth's love for her small white Maltese dogs was a testament to her nurturing spirit, as they brought her great comfort and companionship throughout her life.
A fan of the classics, Ruth found delight in the familiar charm of Charlie Brown and the Peanuts gang, and she cherished her time watching NCIS and Bones. Dining at Wendy's was one of her simple pleasures, where she created many moments filled with laughter and shared stories with those who joined her.
She is survived by her brother, Michael (Diane) Yalch, several nieces and nephews; and her four-legged friends, Lexi and Laci.
Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, Steve and Agnes (Gearo) Yalch; her loving husband, Michael Dean Pool; her son, Darrell Michael Pool; her brother, Steve Yalch.
As we remember Ruth Ann Pool, we celebrate the life of a woman who embraced each day with a spirited heart and an infectious smile.
