Ruth Konkler

Ruth Ann (Lemasters) Konkler, age 66, of Lancaster, died November 19th, 2014 at Genesis Homestead Nursing facility. She was born in Circleville, on August 17, 1948 to the late Charles and Ethel Clellan Lemasters. She worked as a cook for various nursing homes. She was amazing in the kitchen and taught her children how to cook. She will be greatly missed.
Ruth is survived by her children, Francis Xavier (Babette) Konkler Jr., Susie Mossholder, and Jeffery A. Konkler Sr. all of Lancaster; grandchildren, Phylicia, Jeremy (Jessica), Josh, Duncan, Jeffery Jr., Micheala, and Austin Konkler, Jonathan Mossholder, Justin Mossholder, Jessica Lott, and Holly McGee; 11 great-grandchildren, sisters, Catherine Happeny and Butch Conrad; brothers, John, Mike, and Alfred Lemasters; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis Xavier Konkler Sr.; and brothers, Jim and Bob Lemasters.
Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A service will take place on Saturday at 4PM at the funeral home. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 2PM until the time of service. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com.
