Ruth Gordon

Ruth Gordon, age 80, of Lancaster, died Oct 5, 2014 at the Pickering House. She was born to Henry and Lula Pugh Good, in Lancaster, on April 24th, 1934. She was a homemaker who prided herself in raising her family and was an amazing cook. She was always the one making everyone laugh. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Diane (Wally Wiseman) Perry, Larry Gordon, Sharon (Richard) Appleman, Karen (Bob) Kegler, Don Gordon, Brenda (Joe Caldwell) Williamson; 22 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jim Gordon; brothers, Charles, Frank, and Paul Good; sisters, Ruby Montgomery and Shirley Camp; and husband Fred Gordon.
A funeral will take place on Thursday, at 3:30PM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Caring Cremation® will take place following the service. Family and friends may visit from 1:30PM until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday. Donations can be made to the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home 207 S Main.
