Ruth L. Frank Fosnaugh 81 of Lancaster, Ohio died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Pickering House.
She was a retired bartender for Old Bill Baileys. She was a member of Maple Street United Methodist Church and a former member of the Moose. She loved to read, to garden, going fishing and also going to Rice Lake in Canada.
Ruth is survived by her daughter, Pamela Allen of Lancaster, OH; sons, Spurgeon F. (Kathy) Fosnaugh of Lancaster, OH and Greg (Kay) Fosnaugh of Canal Winchester, OH; granddaughters, Angela Allen, Kimberly Allen-Shaw, Jenna Fosnaugh, and Amy Walter; grandson, Christopher Fosnaugh; great-grandchildren, Jordan F. Allen, Brooklyn Baker, Dylan Walter, Sarah Kay Fosnaugh, and Laura Michelle Fosnaugh; brothers, Charlie (Linda) Frank of Lancaster, OH and Phil (Rhonda) Frank of Pleasantville, OH; sisters, Mildred Anderson, Doris (Paul) Purtiman and Grace Conrad all of Lancaster, OH; many nieces, nephews; sisters-in-law, Sue Frank and Almajean Frank both of Lancaster, OH; special friends, Linda Myers, Lisa Gee and her family, Mary and Mike Ewing, and Mickey Fritz all of Lancaster, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick G. Fosnaugh, parents, Henry and Maybelle Frank, brothers, Lloyd, Gene, Donald, Ronald, and Bill Frank; sister, Jeannette Moore.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Phyllis Fetzer officiating. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
