Ruth Brandt

Ruth W. Brandt, 90, passed away at her residence Friday, January 25, 2013. She was born on February 11, 1922 in Rushville to the late Charles and Lelia Sain Wagner. Ruth was a member of the Rushville United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, taking care of her husband, gardening and canning, her cats and making her kids behave.
Ruth is survived by her children Rebecca (Bruce) Kelley of Lancaster, Joseph R. (Cheryl) Jr. of Rushville, and Cheryl A. Brandt of Lancaster; grandson, Matthew K. Kelley of Lancaster; sister Lois Boch of Bremen; sister in law Betty ((Bill) Schoonover of Beaver Creek OH; many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 64 years Joseph Richard Brandt; infant sister.
A private graveside service will be held at West Rushville Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Rushville United Methodist Church, 3304 Market St., Rushville OH 43150 or the Rushville Lion’s Club. The family would like to thank Hospice of Licking County for there help and services they provided. Services were provided by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster OH 43130.
