Ruth Anderson

Ruth M. Anderson 83 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center. She was a retired selector for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. and loved to play bingo.

She is survived by her children, Gladys (Rod) Bash of Lancaster, Ohio Becky (Tom) Pugh of Rushville, Ohio, David E. (Cheryl Hollett) Anderson and Larry R. Anderson all of Lancaster, Ohio; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Kenneth E. (Sarah) Hunt of Lancaster, Ohio and Chauncey F. (Lynn) Hunt of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and many nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Maxine Hunt, son, Robert L. Anderson, daughter, Mary A. Anderson, sister, Vivian Yantes and brothers, Curtis L. and Edward R. Hunt.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor William C. Lavely officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
