Russell Campbell

Russell B. Campbell, 88, of Lancaster passed away at his home on Sunday, December 10, 2017.

Russell was a lifelong Fairfield County resident. He served in the U.S. Army and worked for Anchor Hocking - Plant 1, in the office, for over 40 years. He was a member of the Violet Grange for over 72 years and a member of the Fairfield County Pomona Grange, Ohio State Grange, and the National Grange. He was also a member of the Lancaster Organ Club.

Russell is survived by his sister, Louisea Sargent; and special friends, Joyce and Noah Blosser, Benjamin and Jennifer Blosser and their children, Braeleigh and Brandt, Robert and Judy Blosser and their children, Haylie and Gretchen, and Sam and Karen Oliver.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, Lester B. and Leona B. Campbell; and his brother, Dwight E. Campbell.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM Wednesday at the funeral home and 1 hour prior to the service on Thursday.
