Rosetta Saunders

Rosetta Lee Delong Saunders 72 of Pleasantville, Ohio passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lancaster, a graduate of Liberty Union High School Class of 1962, owned a beauty shop in Baltimore, worked at horse tracks in Florida, and worked at DeLong Flower Shop.

Rosetta is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jerry Saunders, Jr.; seven children, Jerry Lee (Teresa) Saunders of Kentucky, Stephanie Saunders of South Dakota, Jennifer L. 9Kenneth) Swaim of Georgia, Christopher A. (Pam) Saunders of Florida, Calista A. Byrns of Ohio, Steven A. (Nancy) Saunders of Georgia and Robyn L. Saunders of Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; brother, Donald E. DeLong of Ohio and cousin, Connie Switzer of Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mabel DeLong, grandson, Timothy Cheeks, sons-in-law, Cameron Byrns and Paul Cheeks, aunts and uncle, Eva Friesner and Margaret and Ed Wildermuth.

Funeral service will be held Monday, July 3, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, 1701 Sheridan Dr., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Bishop Mark Holdcroft officiating. Burial will follow in Tschopp Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday from 5-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.
