Rose Watson

Rose Watson, age 91 of Lancaster died December 5th 2016 at Main St. Terrace. She was born on March 10, 1925 in Spring City, TN to the late Robert and Mattie Strunk Garden. She retired from Good Samaritan Hospital as the head of the Hemotology Lab. She then moved to Florida where she became the administrative assistant to the ER Dr.s at Lakeland Hospital. After moving to Lancaster she became the organist for the 1st English Lutheran Church. She was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed.

Rose was survived by her children, Vivian Rowntree, Frank (Joann) Rowntree, and Dell (Beth) Rowntree; stepchildren, 7 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one sister.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 husbands, Carl Rowntree M.D. and John A. Watson.
