Biography

Rose M. Simmons, 74, of Lancaster, died on Saturday, December 31, 2011, at the Pickering House. Rose was born August 20, 1937, in Lancaster to the late Tom and Ethel Seymour.

Rose is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Otis and Linda Simmons, Jr.; niece, Patty (Nile, Sr.) Brown; 3 grandchildren, Scott, Joe, and Lori Simmons; and 2 great grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lorena Bowers; 2 brothers, and a sister.

Caring Cremation has taken place with the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster. Burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
