Rosalind M. Hodge, 89, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015.

Rosalind was a member of St. John’s Episcopal Church, Lancaster. She was a retired teacher and librarian for Berne Union. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 50 years.

Rosalind is survived by her sons, Dan (Tari) Hodge of Lewis Center, Ohio and Jeff Hodge of Lancaster; grandchildren, Lisa (Jeffrey) Smith of Waterford, Michigan; great grandson, Riley Smith; brother, Charles Daniel (Ann) Gilsdorf of Plano, Texas; sister-in-law, Juanita Hodge of Lockhart, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

Rosalind was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Hodge, Jr.; and her parents, Charles and Helen Gilsdorf.

Funeral service for Rosalind will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Rev. William Pursley officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 1:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
