Ronald Mauger

Ronald L. Mauger 75 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 5, 2015 at his residence with his family by his side.

He was retired from Fairfield County Utilities and enjoyed working with accounting and tax preparation at H & R Block. He was a lifelong member of Trinity United Church of Christ, charter member of the Baltimore Lions Club, life member of the Lancaster Old Car Club, life member of United Commercial Travelers, and was a volunteer for Fairfield Medical Center.

Ron is survived by his wife of 55 years, Thelma Jean ; daughter, Susan (Dale) Warren of Cape Coral, FL; son, Kenneth (Connie) Mauger of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Mauger of Cape Coral, FL, Jacqueline (Ron) Scarfpin of Largo, FL, Steven (Danielle) Mauger of Pickerington, OH, Timothy Warren, US Army in Vicenza, Italy, Ethan Mauger of Baltimore, OH, Elizabeth Keener of Brooklyn, NY, and Paul Keener of Hamilton, OH; great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Scarpin and Arya Mauger; sister, Jane Ristau of Hamilton, OH; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Homer and Melva Stromeyer of Heath, Oh, Ronald Seever of Cambridge, OH and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Mary (Fritz) Mauger, infant brother, Donald Reid Mauger and in-laws, Harry and Elsie Seever and brother-in-law, Jack Ristau.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Church of Christ with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating and 1 hour of visiting at the church prior to the service on Friday. Inurnment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, OH. Friends may visit Thursday, 5-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105. Caring Cremation® to follow calling hours.
