Ronald Kochis

Ronald Kochis 74, of Lancaster died Jan. 21, 2021.  He was born on Jan. 11, 1947 in Barberton, OH to the late Michael and Mary (Goda) Kochis.  Ron graduated from Barberton High School and served in the United States Army.

Ron enjoyed gardening, wild life and THE Ohio State Buckeyes.  He loved life, his friends and his family.  He was passionate about life and always wanted the best for those he loved.  He will be forever loved and missed.

He is survived by his children, Amy (Kochis) and Jason Shuster, Jon and Heather Kochis; brothers, Michael Kochis and Robert (Mary) Kochis; 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by his parents and sister, Patricia (Kochis) and John Borosky.

Caring Cremation ™ has taken place through the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.  There will be a military service held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers the family asks donations go to the U.S.O.  Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
