Ronald D. Craig

Ronald D. Craig, 82, passed away Friday, October 18, 2024 at his home in Millersport, Ohio.

Ronald was in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves (Command Chief), for a combined 31 years. He served in Vietnam and Desert Shield/Desert Storm. A private Chief Pilot for The Limited Stores, (L Brands) for 35 years. He was President of The Buckeye Lake Area Civic Association for 17 years and also on the Board of The Harbor Community Center since inception. He was a member of the QB’s, The Moose, Amvets, VFW, the Eagles, and the Masons. 

Ronald is survived by his wife Trudy L. Craig; sons Curtis (Martha Haywood) Craig, and Kevin (Kathleen) Craig; daughters Natalie (Adam) Stephenson, and Kim (Mark) Shirmer; step-son Brad (Jesi) Lehman; grandchildren Chelsey, Caleb, and Jackie Craig, Corey Stephenson, Alissa McLaughlin, and MacKenzie Lehman; great grandchildren Athea and Aurelia Craig, and Evie McLaughlin; former wife Carolyn Craig; brothers-in-law Jeff (Belinda) Runkle parents of the late Elizabeth Runkle, and Victor (Anna Thibodeau) Runkle father of Donny Runkle, and Alan (Donna) Walter. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, Ohio 43130. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10:30 AM in the funeral home. Burial will take place in Amanda Township Cemetery, with military honors.
