Ronald “Ron” J. Bauman 70 of Baltimore, Ohio died Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Grant Medical Center.
He was operated Tri-State Sales for 30 years buying and selling restaurant equipment. He was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Navy. He was a member of Mingo Masonic Lodge #171 F & AM, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite Valley in Columbus, Ohio and Parthenia Chapter O.E.S. #124.
Ron is survived by his wife, Jean Tussing Bauman; daughters, Kimberly (William) Harris of Bryan, Ohio and Christine (Greg) James of Nelsonville, Ohio; grandchildren, Jessica Smyers, Chelsey James, Felicia Bentley, Matthew James and R. J. Lutes; seven great grandchildren; brother, Max (Anne) Bauman of Columbus, Ohio; a nephew, cousins, aunts and uncle, Betty Cline of Wellston, Ohio and Gladys and Charles McSorley of Florida; mother-in-law, Emma Tussing of Baltimore, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Donald and Sue Tussing of Macon, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shelba Bauman, parents, Henry and Ernestine Bauman, father-in-law, Richard Tussing.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Rev. Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial to follow in New Fairview Cemetery Rockbridge, Ohio. Friends may visit Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. A Parthenia Chapter O.E.S. #124 memorial service will be held Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
