Roger Dale Richardson

Roger Dale Richardson, 73, of Lancaster, OH, went to be home with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on January 27, 2022. At the time of his passing, he had been residing at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Roger was born August 12, 1948 in Cleveland, OH. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Irene Richardson; two siblings, Vernon Richardson and Donna Richardson. He is survived by his siblings, Sharon Cosby of Russellville, AL, Timothy (Opal) Richardson of Orrville, OH, James Ray Richardson of Brunswick, OH, and Kathy (Phillip) Romeo of Mt. Perry, OH; five nephews; six nieces; and several great nieces and nephews.

Roger was a graduate of Cloverleaf High School in Lodi, OH. Upon graduation, he joined the Unites States Marine Corps and served in Vietnam.

Roger was a gifted musician vocally. He also mastered guitar playing. Those who knew Roger were aware of his keen sense of humor. He was generous and caring and his loss is felt deeply by both his friends and family.

A celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday, June 18, at 11 a.m. at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church located at 306 S Walnut St., Orrville, OH. He has been laid to rest in Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Lancaster, OH.
