Roger Wayne Wolfe 77 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He was born on May 16, 1936 in Thurston, Ohio to the late Merrill and Helen Neff Wolfe.
He was a US Army veteran and a life long farmer. He was a life long member of the Thurston United Methodist Church, very active in the Fairfield Bureau, Olivedale Senior Citizens Center Veterans Group, Soil Conservation Service and Farm Bureau Council 18.
Roger is survived by his daughters, Susan (Lin) Kauffman of New Paris, Ohio and Rev. Dr. Alice Wolfe of Baltimore, Ohio; son, Michael (Maria) Wolfe of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Micaela Kauffman, Jacob Kauffman, Patrick Kauffman, Katherine Kauffman, Thomas Wolfe, Anna Wolfe and Rebecka Wolfe; brothers, Paul (Jan) Wolfe of Plain City, Ohio and Richard (Peggy) Wolfe of Durham, North Carolina; sister, Jeane Mast of Pleasantville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris I. Braley Wolfe, parents and grandson, Jason Roger Wolfe.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Christ United Methodist Church, Baltimore, Ohio with Rev. Dr. Rebeka Maples and Rev. Dr. Alice Wolfe officiating. Burial to follow in Hampson Cemetery, Pleasantville, Ohio. Friends may visit Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
