Roger Lee Shepperd 74 of Pompano Beach, FL died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at Vitas Innovative Hospice. He was born on January 8, 1939 to the late Frank W. and Edna Louise Lones Shepperd in Perry County, Ohio.
He was a US Air force veteran and a retired data processing manager for Xerox Corp.
Roger is survived by his sister, Irene McCandlish of Lancaster, OH; brother, Dale Shepperd of Lancaster, OH; several nieces, nephews and friends in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, niece, Dianne Shaw, brother-in-law, Glenn McCandlish and sister-in-law, Ruth Tracey Shepperd.
A graveside service will be held Friday, December 13, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at New Lexington Cemetery, New Lexington, Ohio with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites. No visiting hours to be observed.
