Roger Lee Clevinger

Roger Lee Clevinger 65 of Carroll, Ohio died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital.  He was born on January 9, 1954 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Lee and Thelma (Walter) Clevinger.

He worked in quality control in the meat processing business.  He was a graduate of The Ohio State University and a member of the Ohio Farm Bureau, loved fishing, hunting, trapping, farming and cooking.

Roger is survived by his sister, Debbie (Ron) Miller of Lancaster, Ohio; niece, Stephanie (Matt) Escobar; nephews, Collin (Rachel) Miller, Chance Miller; great nephew, Lucas Escobar; longtime friends, Duffy Jeff and Harry and faithful canine companion, Milo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Thelma (Walter) Clevinger.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Greenfield Twp. Cemetery, 3550 Columbus-Lancaster Rd. NW, Carroll, Ohio 43112 with Pastor Mark Barbee of Fairfield Christian Church officiating. Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.

Memorial gifts may be given to the Fairfield County Dog Adoption Center and Shelter, 1715 Granville Pike, Lancaster, Ohio 43130.
