Robert Leigh Travis

Robert Leigh Travis, age 85, of Thornville Ohio passed away at Altercare of Thornville on December 16th, 2020. Robert was born to the late Joseph and Jessie (Lee) Travis on June 3rd, 1935 in Louisville Kentucky. Bob was a graduate of Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Terre Haute, Indiana with a degree in Civil Engineering. Bob worked for the Mead Corp. in Chillicothe, Ohio for many years. He retired in 1999 as General Manager of CVN Industries, Greeneville, Tennessee. Robert loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by many.

Robert is survived by his loving wife, Lou Ann Travis; children, Lori Kolthoff, Shelly (Edgar) Bolgzds; grandchildren, Robert Bolgzds, Kylie Bolgzds; several nieces and nephews.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents; son in law, Michael Kolthoff; brothers, Joseph Travis Jr and Kenneth Travis.
