Robert “Bob” Lee Morris 73 of Somerset, Ohio former resident of Lancaster, Ohio passed away, Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at his residence.
He was in the US Naval reserves serving in the Seabees and retired as a superintendent of waste water treatment for Fairfield County. He was a member of St. Mary Assumption Church and attended Holy Trinity Catholic Church, former member of the Knights of Columbus and loved history.
Bob is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary Kincaid Morris; son, Jack (Samantha) Morris of Somerset, Ohio; daughters, Christine (David Sellards) Chappell of Everett, Washington and Robin Renee (mike) Mowery of Somerset, Ohio; nine grandchildren and a great grandson; sisters, Margie (Ben) Garey of Mt. Airy, Maryland; Marsha (Roger Hoyt) Wagner of Temperance, Michigan, Sheila (Chuck) Gallagher of Defiance, Ohio, patty (Mark) Eddy of Friendly, West Virginia and Carla Morris of Maryland; nephews, Michael and Adam Morris and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walcie A. and Helen Morris, Sr., brother Walcie Alvadore Morris, Jr. and infant brother, Walcie Morris.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, March 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Somerset, Ohio with Fr. Stephen Carmody as celebrant. Memorial gifts may be given to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Somerset, Ohio.
