Robert “Bob” C. Miller, 80 of Lancaster Ohio and formerly of Baltimore Ohio went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster.
He was born on April 18, 1938 to the late Harry and Garnet (Neff) Miller, he lived in Baltimore for 68 years, was a 1956 graduate of Liberty Union High School and was a member of Lancaster United Brethren Church after moving to Lancaster in 2006, where he was a member of Prayer Partners and Builders Sunday School Class. He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Baltimore where he served as Chairman of Trustees.
Bob was a devoted Christian, Husband and Father and liked gardening, hunting, traveling, and wood working. He was a meat cutter for 35 years and retired from Nationwide Insurance in 2000.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jackie Miller.
Bob is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley (Davis) Miller, daughters, Doreen (Kevin) Horn and Deborah (Michael) Azzaro; sons, Mitchell (Kathy) Miller and Michael (Malinda) Miller; six grandchildren, Danielle (Matt) Jones, Julie (John) Foster, Adam (Mandy) Bennett, Andrew (Stacey Dittoe) Bennett, McCabe (Jessica) Miller and Marshall (Morgan) Miller; seven great grandchildren, Madisson, Bailee, Max, Maci, Major, Cason, and Aleah; sisters, Shirlee (Gerald) Ety and Janis (Roland) Peters; and brother, Gary (Judy), Miller and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Monday, August 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Lancaster United Brethren Church with Rev. Greg Voight officiating. Friends may visit Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
