ROBERT E. HUMMERICH

Lancaster: Robert E. Hummerich, 78 of Lancaster OH, died Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at the Pickering House. He was born August 7, 1934 in Columbus OH to the Late Robert and Margaret Abahazie Hummerich. He was a retired Maintenance Supervisor for Worthington Industry.

He is survived by daughters, Sandy (Mike) Smith of Sugar Grove and Kimberly (Thomas) Shafer of Lancaster; son, Michael (Elaine) Hummerich of Beverly, OH; grandchildren, Matthew Bowman, Kristin Hummerich, Nicholas Hummerich, Jamie Hummerich, Abigail Shafer, Luke Shafer, and Levi Shafer; sisters, Leona Fullen and Shirley (Danny) Nowlin; brother, Glenn (Diane) Hummerich. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis George Hummerich and his parents.

Funeral service will be Saturday 12:30 pm in the chapel of the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster OH 43130. Burial will follow at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call 6 until 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.
