Robert H. Hoover 87 of Thornville, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was a retired truck driver and a World War II US Army veteran. He attended the Apostolic Life Ministries.
He is survived by his wife, Rosetta; children, Christine (Jim) Swain of Loveland, OH, Ralph Hoover of Hamilton, OH, Bert (Kathy) Hoover of Cincinnati, OH, Judy (Bob) Cleland of Baltimore, OH, Tim Hoover of Thurston, OH, Robin (Dan) Henderson of Fairfield Beach, OH, Mark Hoover of Fairfield Beach, OH, Crystal Cleland of Wapakoneta, OH, Robert "Pete" H. Hoover, Jr of Fairfield Beach, OH, and Tena Singleton of Fairfield Beach, OH; step-son, Byron (Debbie) LeMaster of Jasper, OH; many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Absolum and Alma Hoover and sister, Ruth Schloemer.
A private graveside service will be held at Maple Grove Cemetery, Cleves, Ohio with Rev. Bob Cleland officiating. Arrangements are being handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OH 43105.
