Robert Hartinger

Robert W. Hartinger, age 75 of Lancaster, passed away March 2, 2012 at the Pickering House. He was enlisted in the US Army and was in the Korean War. He worked in construction all throughout the Fairfield County area. He enjoyed making beautiful canes and jewelry boxes.
He was survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Harriet Hartinger of Lancaster; daughter Jerrie (Michael) Brown of Bainbridge, OH; step-sons, David (Kimberly) Johnson, Mark (Mary) Johnson; and step-daughter, Lyn (Rus) Littrell all of Lancaster; 3 grandchildren; 20 step-grandchildren; 38 step-great-grandchildren; 4 step-great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Pete (Patty) and Richard Hartinger all of Circleville; sister, Edith Stromberger of Circleville; 9 nieces; and 9 nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ethel Hartinger; brothers, Ernest and Austin Hartinger; and sisters, Betty, Margaret, and Barbara.
