Robert Brown

Robert J. Brown, 81, of Baltimore, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2015, at Heartland of Fairfield.

Robert served as a M.P. in the United States Army. He worked for the Village of Baltimore for 15 years, was a farmer for many years, and a truck driver for Landmark. He was a former assistant Fire Chief with the Liberty Township Fire Department.

Robert is survived by his wife, Donna J. Brown; son, Robert Joe (Robyn K.) Brown; step-sons, Robert L. Yates and Rick A. (Teresa) Yates; grandchildren, Ryleigh K. Brown, Scott Yates, Anthony Yates, Johnathan Yates, and Zachery Yates; great grandchildren, Hanna, Kellan Anthony, Halo, Rylyn, Haiden, and Sky Yates; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and Ethel Brown; son, Keith Brown; sister, Marie Wiseman; and brothers, Charles, Garold, and Neal Brown.

Funeral service for Robert will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore with Reverend Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore. Friends may visit from 12:00 to 2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
