Robert "Bob" Boman

Robert E. "Bob" Boman, age 84, of Thurston, passed away at his residence on June 22nd, 2012. He was born on Aug. 21st, 1927 in Finley to his parents, Joseph Edward and Verah Faye Miller Boman. He was a painter and was known in the surrounding community for his excellent work. He was also an avid gardener, with several varieties of flowers.
He is survived by his sister, Marjorie Howell of Chillicothe; nephew, Mark Howell of Chillicothe; nieces, Cathy (Harold) Poole of Sandy, UT and Julie (Anthony) Falco of Centerville; cousin, Leota Andrews of Millersport; and special neighbors, Carl and Barbara Gray of Thurston.
Caring Cremation has taken place through the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Burial will take place at Primitive Baptist Cemetery at a later date. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com.
