Robert "Bob" L. Seimer

Lancaster - Robert “Bob” L. Seimer, age 76, passed Monday, April 8, 2024 at the Pickering House in Lancaster. 

Bob was co-owner of Seimer Oil and Gas. He graduated from Lancaster High School, class of 1965. He enjoyed farming, fish tanks, and tow trucks. Bob served 2 years in the Army as an MP from 1966-1968.

Bob is survived by his wife Joyce Ellen (Hoffman) Seimer; children Amy Kaye Seimer and Bryan Lewis Seimer; grandchildren Dustin Michael Merritt and Chase Tyler Franklin; great grandchildren Adalynn, Amiah, and Allyson Merritt; brother Neil A. Seimer; as well as other family members, nieces and nephews and sister and brother in law. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Lewis and Bernice (Fausnaugh) Seimer; and grandparents Andrew and Viola Seimer and Albert and Edith Fausnaugh. 

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130, from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 - 8:00. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home on Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM. Followed by Caring Cremation®.
