Richard "Dick" Needs

Richard “Dick” L. Needs 79 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.

He was a retired letter carrier for the US Postal Service with 22 years of service. He was member of the Redmen, loved to garden, football, sports and just being outside. He was always there when you needed him.

Richard is survived by his son, William R. (Theresa) Needs of Bainbridge, Ohio; daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Runyon of Baltimore, Ohio; six grandchildren, Kyle Needs, Christopher Needs, Shawn Needs, Sr., Kelsey Needs, Ashlee (Eric) VanCourt and Chase(Hannah) Runyon; six great grandchildren, Dylan, and Connor Needs, Raelynn VanCourt, Zoe and Madison Needs and Shawn Needs, Jr.; sister, Francis Osborne of Columbus, Ohio; sister-in-law, Shirley Needs of Naples, Florida; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta R. Needs, grandchildren, Lindsey and Hadyn Needs, brothers and sisters.

Funeral service will be held Friday, August 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
