Richard Roush II

Richard A. “Slick” Roush, II 51 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at OSU Wexner Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was in construction with Superior Exterior for 25 years, loved his Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburg Steelers fan. He also loved to watch his son, Chris play sports.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Kimberly Roush; children, Christopher Roush, Richard Roush, III, Beth (Josh VanFossen) Heffner and Staci (Shayne Hurd) Heffner; grandchildren, Taelynn and Beau VanFossen and Ava Reid; mother, Barbara (Bruce Grant) Swartz; father, Richard Roush; grandmother, Jenny Fagan; brother, Mark (Dana Morehead) Roush; sisters, Dawn (Scott Griffin)Roush, Talia (Robert) May and Christine (Ferg) Ferguson; nieces and nephews, Brooke Eck, Olivia and Sophia May, Holly Roush, Jill Hollett, Mark (Sara) Roush, II, Donnie Southers, Braden May; mother-in-law, Patricia Powell; father-in-law, George Myers; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends and the Fyffe Family.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Tammi Groves, uncles, J. P. Fagan and Franky Fagan and grandparents.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 29, 2016 at 7:30 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUN ERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Father Peter Gideon as Celebrant. Caring Cremation® to follow the service. Friends may visit 2-4 & 6-7:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
