Richard Fosnaugh

Richard Edmond Fosnaugh 82 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Fairfield Medical Center after a long battle with diabetes, heart disease and kidney disease.

Richard was born on April 28, 1934 in Lancaster, Ohio to the late Spurgeon and Gladys Fosnaugh.

He was a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1953. He was a retired journeyman tool and die maker for F. C. Brengman in Carroll, Ohio in 2005 with over 20 years of service. He was a member of United Commercial Travelers serving as chaplain for several years and Anglers Paradise.

Richard is survived by his wife of 62 years, Linda Kay Fosnaugh whom he married on October 5, 1954; sons, James M. (Cherie Kyer) Fosnaugh of Orlando, FL and David (Linda Lou) Fosnaugh of Lancaster, Ohio; daughter, Tisha (Victor) Harris of Roseville, Ohio; grandpa to grandchildren, Mandi Helmink, Amy Mullett, Nikki Fosnaugh, Heather Kelley, Lynn Stotts and Tabitha Hamilton; great-grandchildren, Sarah, Grace, Maddy, Isaac, Anna, Eli, Jaidynn, Kaylen, Tyler and Mannix; great-great-grandson, Bronson; Brother, James E. (Susie) Fosnaugh of Lancaster, Ohio; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Linda Gilden of Jacksonville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; beloved canine, Bella.

The family wishes to thank the staff and doctors of the Fairfield Medical Center for their love and care of Richard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Vivian Fosnaugh, brothers, Bill, Kenneth and Fred Fosnaugh, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Gay and Bradie Waugh.

Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 per his wishes.

There will be a private Celebration of Life for the family.
