Richard D. Disbennet

Lancaster - Richard D. Disbennet, 65, died Thursday, April 27, 2023 at his home.

He was born June 29, 1957 to Richard and Blanche (Wright) Disbennet. Richard worked at Huddles for 19 years as a technician. He loved his ‘77 Ford F150 and his ‘95 Mustang GT. Richard enjoyed Ohio State football, NASCAR, fishing, and shooting guns. He liked to relax, sitting in the sun or listening to music.

Richard will be greatly missed by friends, and family.

He is survived by his wife Rose (Wion) Disbennet of Logan; his children Alyssa Helber, Shyann (Adam) Disbennet, and Jolynn (Ryan) Disbennet; grandchildren Drevin, Jordyn, Remmington, Emmalee, and Ruger; brothers Darrel and Brian Disbennet; sister Cathy (Dana) Cain; and many nieces and nephews.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers Donald and Ronald Disbennet.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 1 PM in Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH 43130. Calling hours will begin at 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
