Richard Boucher

Richard L. Boucher, age 81 of Pleasantville, died Friday June 20th, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was born on April 29th, 1933 to Leon and Freda Benson Boucher. He was a farmer who also did various commercial construction projects all throughout central Ohio. He was a member of the Massey Harris Ferguson Club of Ohio; was a past President of the Fairfield Riding Club; and a life member of the Fairfield County Antique Tractor Club.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Peggy Slone, of Pleasantville; sons, Ritchie (Polly) Boucher of Hebron, Richard (Kathy) Boucher of Pleasantville, Brett Boucher and family friend, Chuck Reinhart of Baltimore, Tim (Lori) Boucher of Pleasantville; daughter, Crystal (David) Mirth of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Marcy (Kurt) Love, Katie (Travis) Cupp, Zach (Holly) Boucher, Luke (Anne) Boucher, and Sarah Boucher, Jennifer (Troy) Girty, Lauryn Gambill, Alexandra and Angelina Mirth; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Bette Lou Boucher.
A funeral service will take place at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday at 10AM, officiated by Rev. Jill Dunlap. Burial will follow the service at Basil Memorial Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 2PM until 4PM and 6PM until 8PM at the funeral home.
