Lancaster – Richard L. Alexander, Jr., 58, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at the Pickering House.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing golf. His CB handle was Little Al. Most of all, Richard loved his kids.
He is survived by his long time friend, and wife of 8 years Terry L. (Williams) Alexander; his sons Brian Hawk, Richard III, and Josh Alexander; sisters Ronae Alexander, Joy Alexander, and Ann (Brian “Hulio”) Sartin; aunt Rebecca Dean; he is also survived by reletives-in-law Tonya Hart, Jeannette (Brian) Dreher, Charles Williams, Tony Williams, Carl Hart, and Diane Williams; as well as many other relatives. Richard is also survived by his grand guinea pigs, Fluffy and Scamper, and his grand puppy Ollie.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents Richard Sr. and Sandra (Anthony) Alexander; baby brother Roger and sister Kimberly K. Alexander; grandmas Phoebe Lynch and Dolores Anthony; in-laws Marvin and Kathleen (Frazier-Williams) Hart, Mary (Rev. Goldie) Frazier, Layton “Andy” Williams, Tony W. McMillion, Caroline, and several aunts and uncles.
Family and friends may visit from 2:00 – 3:00 PM ,Wednesday, April 27, 2022 , at the Community Holiness Church, 189 Sells Rd. Lancaster, Ohio 43130. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM lead by Pastor William Syfert.
Caring Cremation® is being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
Memorial donations may be made in Richard's name to Woodforest National Bank, 2687 N. Memorial Dr. Lancaster, Ohio 43130, to help the family with funeral expenses.
