Rhoda A. Cassady

Rhoda A. Cassady, 91, of Lancaster, passed away on September 5, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Inez, KY to the late Joseph and Lucy Ward on February 10, 1931.

Rhoda was a member of Faith Memorial Church, and loved The Lord

She is survived by her son, Stephen (Sheila) Burford; grandchildren, Christopher, Shawn (Ruth), Jameson, Rachel (Glen), Courtney, and Nathan; brother, Rev. B.J. (Pearl) Ward; and many great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husbands, Milton Burford and Russell Cassady; daughter, Barbara Burford; brother, James “Tom” (Gay) Ward; and parents.

A funeral service will take place at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH 43130 on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 11 AM. Family and friends may visit from 2-8 PM on Thursday, and again two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Inez, KY. Family and Friends may visit at the Callaham Funeral Home from 10-12 PM on Saturday before the burial.
