Rev. Wauneta Lutz

Rev. S. Wauneta Lutz, 90, of Lancaster, passed away at the Pickering House on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Wauneta was an ordained minister for over 60 years. She served as minister for Community Church in Lancaster and the Rushville Church of Christ in Christian Union.

Wauneta is survived by her daughter, Cindy (Joseph) Dishong; grandchildren, Autumn McElvain and Trucker McElvain; brother, Ronnie (Betty) Diddle; sister, Thelma Diddle; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Lutz; parents, Audra and Nellie Diddle; and brothers, Arthur Diddle and Archie Diddle.

Funeral service for Wauneta will be held at 1:00 pm Monday at the FRANK E. SMTIH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 11:00 to 1:00 Monday at the funeral home.
