Retta Carole Hickman Bainter 73 of Lancaster, Ohio died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center.
She owned and operated Carole’s Cut and Curl prior to retiring and then going to JCPenney Salon.
Retta is survived by her daughter, Cheri Bainter of Lancaster, Ohio; grandson, Zacherie Bainter of Lancaster, Ohio; sisters, Pat (Darl) Moury of Lancaster, Ohio, Betty Paskins of Bremen, Ohio, and Mary Lou Beigley of Florida; brother-in-law, Everett “Jake” VanMeter of Bremen, Ohio; former spouses, Jerry Bainter and Garold Amerine; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her two infant sons, Jason Aaron and Alan Jay Bainter, parents, Denver and Nellie Hickman, sister, Mabel VanMeter, and brother, Robert Hickman.
