Reginald R. Pryor "Reggie", age 93 of Lancaster, died on February 27th, 2016 at the Pickering House. He was born to the late, Preston and Grace Pryor on April 9th, 1922 in Lansing, MI. Sgt Pryor served his country in WWII in the US Army Air Core. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rotary, and was the oldest active member of the Family Y. He owned and operated the Good Fruit Farm and the Lancaster Green House; he enjoyed, RVing, boating, and old vehicles, especially his Model-T fruit truck. Reginald will be greatly missed.
Reginald is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Martha Pryor; daughters, Sandra L. (Tibor A.) Pollerman and Jacolynn (Ersel) Shrider; son, Richard W. (Alice M.) Pryor; six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, Donald R. Pryor; brother, Rexford Pryor; and parents.
A funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Rev. Cheryl Foulk. Following the service, the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail will have a committal service at Forest Rose Cemetery. Family and friends may call on the family on Tuesday from 2 until 4PM and 6 until 8PM at the funeral home.
