Raymond E. Hempleman, of Carroll, Oh., passed away Nov. 20, 2012 at Amber Park Assisted Living in Pickerington, Oh. Ray was a life long farmer, born on the family farm on May 11,1921 to Fred and Grace Hempleman. Preceded in death by wife Marjorie, his parents, infant brother Denver and brother Donald. He was a graduate of Carroll High School and was given a plaque honoring him for being the oldest graduate in attendance at this past Junes alumni banquet. Ray was also a member of the Shalom United Methodist Church and the Pickerington Senior Center.
He is survived by daughter Emily Burnworth and son Kenny (Laura) Hempleman. Grandchildren, Jon, (fiancee' Jill Pritchard), Michael, Nathan, Travis (Sandy) Queen, Sydney Hempleman and great- grandson, Chase Queen.
A service will take place on Sunday at 5PM at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home. Family and friends may call 3 until 5PM at the funeral home on Sunday. A graveside service will take place on Monday at 10:30AM, at Betzer Cemetery.
