Ray Barnhart 70 of Lancaster, Ohio died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center. He worked as an auto body repairman for North Body Shop a later retired from Fitzpatrick Enterprises in Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patti Barnhart; children, Jeramy (Heather) Barnhart, Stacey Barnhart, Mark (Michele) Skates, and Matthew (Michelle) Skates all of Lancaster, Ohio; grandsons, Gavin and Jared; granddaughters, Brittanie, Jessica, Justine, and Rylee; he was known as PawPaw to many other children; brother, Chris Barnhart of WV. A special thanks to Niki, April, Brittany, and Megan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Ida Barnhart and brother, Barney Barnhart.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 21, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130. Burial to follow in Stukey Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 11-1pm at the funeral home.
