Ralph "Bud" Wise, Jr

Ralph “Bud” C. Wise, Jr. 83 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away peacefully at the Pickering House on Thursday, July 2, 2015. He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Marine Corp. and retired as a power distribution load dispatcher for the City of Columbus. After retiring he worked for the Columbus Public Health Department. He was a member of the Baltimore VFW Post 3761, Marine Corp. League, an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mona; daughter, Karen (Mel Voll) Murphy of Baltimore, Ohio; grandchildren, Billie Sue Bowe of Columbus, Ohio and Merry Elizabeth Murphy of Baltimore, Ohio; cousin, William Don and Shelley Grubb of Somerset, Ohio. A special thank you goes to the staff of the Pickering House for his care.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Daphne Sue Chrysler, parents, Ralph C. and Alice Wise, Sr. and sister, Betty Dunlop.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43130 with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating. Burial will follow in Basil Memorial Cemetery with the Baltimore VFW Post 3761 conducting military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
