Ralph Lovejoy

Ralph Lovejoy, age 85, of Lancaster, went to be with his lord on December 20th, 2013, at the Fairfield Medical Center. He was born in Lorado, WV to Millard and Ida Lovejoy on December 25th, 1927. He was a very devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Lancaster. He retired after several years from Kalkan, World Food Inc. He was a caring and loving man whose fondest times were spent surrounded by his family. He is in a better place, yet will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Ruth Lovejoy; sons, Larry E. Lovejoy of Columbus, IN and Keith E. (Jody) Lovejoy of FL; daughter, Betty S. (Russell) Dennison of Lancaster; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Lovejoy of WV.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents.
A service will take place at the First Baptist Church in Lancaster at 10:30AM on Monday, officiated by Dr. John K. Beckett. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may call at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Sunday from 1PM until 4PM and one hour prior to the service at the church.
